Vehicle Classes and Endorsement Categories

Class 2:
Rigid vehicle less than 15,000kg and a combination vehicle less than 12,000kg or any two-axle vehicle weighing more than 15,000kg.

Class 3:
Combination vehicle weighing up to 25,000kg.

Class 4:
Rigid vehicle weighing more than 15,000kg.

Class 5:
Combination vehicle of 25,000kg or more.

Endorsements:
These endorsements are indicated on your licence along with the class of your licence:

D	-	Dangerous goods
F	-	Forklift, to drive on a road
R	-	Rollers (special type)
T	-	Tracks (special type)
W	-	Wheels (special type)
P	-	Passenger service vehicle (e.g. taxi)
V	-	Vehicle recovery service
